With Resilience, I wanted to capture a strength that doesn’t need to shout to be heard. What drew me most to this piece was the absolute confidence in her eyes. I painted her with a steady, unshakeable gaze, looking forward with total presence.

For me, this painting is a tribute to all those women who, despite hardship, persevere with their heads held high. The fierce, fearless look in this woman's eyes resembles any woman who looks at the next obstacle in life with courage and a unique force that only women possess.

To balance that luminous clarity in her face, I built up a heavy, deeply textured background filled with dark, intricate patterns and deep violet tones. This contrast represents the exact heart of the piece: a visual reminder of what it means to hold onto your inner light and stand completely unshaken, no matter how complex or heavy the world around you feels.
