Introduction
Hello! My name is Annalisa, and I am thrilled to welcome you to my website, where I showcase my original paintings and prints. This is my first blog post I created, so welcome not my art world.

Art has always been a part of my life—first with glass painting, then knitting, pyrography, and drawing. But as adulthood arrived, I let those passions slip away.

Childhood to Adulthood
For years, I convinced myself that art was just a fleeting phase. I started believing I wasn’t artistic at all and would jokingly call myself the black sheep in my family of talented artists.

What Changed?
Then, Covid happened. While it brought hardships for many, it also pushed me toward rediscovering my creativity.

Rediscovering Art
I’ve never been one to sit and watch TV all day, so I searched for ways to fill my time. First, I painted the walls in my home, exploring colors, textures, and decor. That led me to develop my love for interior design and maximalism—bold colors, expressive artwork, and vibrant spaces.

Embracing Painting
After that, I asked myself, “What’s next?” Naturally, I gravitated toward pencils, which soon turned into brushes. Slowly but surely, my artistic side resurfaced, and I fell in love with painting.

At first, I experimented with different mediums—acrylics, oils, and watercolors—learning what worked best for me. Budget-friendly art supplies helped me test things out. Eventually, my love for oil painting took over, and I’ve stuck with it ever since.

A Turning Point
After a couple of years of self-training, I hit a wall. That’s when my husband gifted me an art school course, and everything changed. It helped me unlock skills that I wouldn’t have accessed on my own.

Seeing the World Differently
One of the most incredible gifts painting has given me is the ability to truly see. Before, a flower was just a beautiful daisy with white petals. A face was just a face. But now, I see layers, shades, colors, and forms—the intricate beauty of the world around me.

Conclusion
After four years of painting, I know I can’t live without it. Art is not just a hobby—it’s a necessity
